The standard schedule of TUR2025 includes three days of academic sessions and two days of field excursions.
Participants willing to extend their visit to further mining sites are invited to sign up for the additional excursions in the schedule below.
Bespoke extra trips can be organised on the participants’ request (see Additional travel options).
Standard schedule
- 13/7: arrival of participants to Antananarivo airport*, travel to Antsirabe and accommodation;
- 14/7: opening of the conference and academic sessions;
- 15/7: academic sessions in Antsirabe;
- 16/7: field trip to the mine of Tsarafara, in the Sahatany valley, Ibity;
- 17/7: field trip to the mine of Ifasina, in the Sahatany valley, Amoron’i Mania;
- 18/7: academic sessions in Antsirabe;
- 19/7: travel to Antananarivo airport and departure.
